In Memory of 9/11

Today isn't my usual day of posting. But it is important that we remember what happened on this day in 2001.

I was little when it happened, so I don't remember it. But my parents do. A lot of America remembers what happened on that day.

I don't have much to say because we all know what happened without me going into the gory details. Its important we remember what has happened in our nation's history. Don't always rely on a school to teach you what you need to know. Rely on yourself to research. Check your sources because reliability is everything when you're learning something.

What I can say is that it was tragic. People were hurt. Lives were lost. Families were broken. There is no good in what happened, but I'm not going to turn it political. You know why? Because those who were lost don't deserve that. They deserve to be remembered for the good they did and the people they were.

To all the emergency and First Responders of that event, you're heroes. You went above and beyond to help. True Americans appreciate you.

God bless those affected by this tragic, horrific event.

Please know that true Americans are standing together today in memory of the lives lost unfairly in the attack.

God bless America.
God bless y'all

With love,

  1. It was such a tragedy, I actually remember seeing it on tv and not really understanding what was happening.

    1. It was a hard day in our nation's history, but I think we all came together as one in that time. Not that it should have happened that way, though.

  3. Today was such an awful day for the USA, may it will always be respectfully remembered, along with the memory of those who died and sacrificed their lives to save others that fateful day. <3

    1. Yes, exactly. As long as we keep it fresh in our minds and pass it down generation to generation, we'll always remember.

  4. Amen - one of the greatest tragedies of the century but one which united the nation. I kinda remember seeing it on TV but like you, I was pretty little.

    1. We did unite, which was good, but it would have been nice under better circumstances. I was just a couple years old at the time. My mom told me stories of how I reacted to her reaction, but I can't remember that far back.

  5. Amen!
My Aunt worked in that building, but for some reason, she didn't go to work that day. And then it happened. It must have been Jesus telling her not to go. <3

  6. As long as mankind protects freedom, we must never forget.

I was born twelve days after this occurred. My mom says she remembers praying so hard that I wouldn't be born on that day.

Those who responded to it truly are heroes.

  7. Amen. So many people lost their lives, and so many families were broken because of that day. If only people would have listened to the still small voice inside and acted on it. :\ It's so heartbreaking.

    1. I am blunt, so please don't take this the wrong way, but what exactly do you mean by this? It sounds like, in my opinion, you're saying if those people, who may or may not have believed in Jesus, turned to Him this wouldn't have happened. But, I doubt that was your intention. Please don't be upset by my question, I'm just a bit confused.

      But yes, it is heartbreaking.

    2. No, I'm sorry I was confusing. I was saying that God will talk to you, but we often ignore him. I'm sure he told people that they needed to leave that building. It just hurts me. When you don't know God, it's easy to ignore his voice. Maybe if people would have listened to God's voice, then they could have left before the towers fell. Maybe so many people wouldn't have died. People have free will and God won't force us to come to him or cause something to happen that will kill us just because we aren't responding.
So, what it sounded like I was saying wasn't it at all. I'm so sorry for the confusion, lol. I hope I clarified.
      God Bless. <3

    6. Hey, no worries. I didn't want to assume one thing when you might mean the other. That's why I asked so I could better understand where you were coming from. Thanks for your comment! <3

    7. Well, I'm glad you asked because that's not what I meant at all. Thank you for that. ;)

  9. You know, I'm a terrible person. I didn't even mention the attack on the Pentagon or the other attack in 2012 that occurred over seas. I should have made mention of them and for that, I truly apologize. I was having mixed emotions at the moment, trying to figure what to say because its all been said before. I didn't want to leave this moment in history unspoken. Thought it is still all in our minds, its important to recognize.

Everyone affected by the multiple attacks, our prayers are with you.
