Hey, y'all. So, as you can probably tell by the picture, this is a special post, which is why it's not on a scheduled day or time.
I graduated high school today. It has been a bittersweet day.
First, I want to thank God. He brought me to this point and I know He has amazing plans for me.
Thanks, Mom, for sticking with me for my entire school career. Thank you for teaching me, not only my school work, but life skills, and for bringing me to this point.
Thanks, Dad, for providing a way for Mom to teach us. You work so hard every day and you've taught me a lot about hard work.
Thanks to my siblings for being with me every day, annoying me every day, but also for all the fun times we've had. Enjoy the rest of your school because it goes by fast.
That's something I want to express to all of you. Life goes by fast. I'm excited and sad to see high school over. For those of you still in school, please just enjoy it. It sounds cliche and overdone, but I'm serious. Before you know it, it's all over.
Thanks, y'all for sticking around the blog. I look forward to the future of this blog and just my writing in general.

   God bless y'all. 😁

  1. Oh, that's so exciting! Congratulations!!

    1. Thank you! It's exciting and a little sad at the same time. But, God has plans and all will work out in His timing. :) :) :)

  2. I graduated college almost a month ago, I totally get the bittersweet/happy feeling.

    1. Thank you and congratulations to you, too. (I know it's a little late.)
It is very bittersweet, but I look forward to the adventure ahead.
      God bless. :)

  3. oh my goodness! How exciting! I am so proud of you. You should be proud of yourself for not giving up when it got hard, cause I'm sure we all have had those moments where we're sitting at our desks, sobbing, and telling ourselves tha twe're done with school, and it would be easier just to drop out. Trust me, it's true...for me at least. I'm so happy for you, Ivie! <333
I can't wait to see where God takes you in life, and i know you will do many great things. How's public speaking going for you? ;)

    1. No public speaking yet. We're working on other goals right now, but I'm excited to see where God is leading me. Thank you for your sweet comment. Yes, it did get hard, especially with Science, but my mom helped me push through and now I'm here. It has been a bittersweet day, but God has great plans for me.
      God bless. <3 <3

    2. Hey, your timing and God's timing is the best. :)
You're ever so welcome. :) Math is the worst for me. I can take everything else, but math is the hardest spot for me. Well, thank God for your wonderful parents.
I feel so bad for those who don't have the opportunity to have wonderful parents and to have help (especially with school and life in general). :\
God has wonderful plans for you. Plans to give you a hope and a future. God bless you, Ivie. <333

    3. Thank you so much! Math was not always a favorite, either, but for this last year, I did a Dave Ramsey Math course.
Yes, my parents are so wonderful and I think more parents need to check in with their kids to know what's going on in life.
God has amazing plans for you, too. Thanks so much for the encouragement.

    4. You're so welcome! Is the Dave Ramsey Math course somewhat easier than normal?
I mean you bore the person for goodness sakes, how can you not love your own flesh and blood? How can you not care? It makes me sick. :\
Thank you! <3 You deserve every bit of it and more. :) I'm glad I can be an encouragement. :)

    5. I'm not sure if easier is the right word. It's life skills math. Dave Ramsey is a smart man when it comes to money and the course was for high school home-school. It was about the math we'll actually be using in life like taxes, budget, stuff like that. He has a YouTube channel if you want to get a sense. Besides his radio show that is.

    6. Hmm, that sounds useful. I should check it out. :)
If you don't mind me asking, what do you plan to do in life. A career, I mean. A public speaker? I mean, that's just a guess. You don't have to answer if you don't want to.
I'm still so happy for you! Do you think you'll be leaving for college soon, or are you going to go to college? (This may be too personal. Sorry!)

    7. It's not too personal. For me, I don't think God is leading me down a path to go to college right now. (I'll be making a post about that soon.) As for the public speaking, God will lead me to that when it is time. For now, I want to get a regular part time job. I was thinking about doing something where I can be my own boss because I would have more time to write that way and also if God leads me to speak, I would have time to do that as well. I'm going to look into trades instead of college, but I'll do whatever the Lord leads me to do. For now, I'm just going to enjoy the summer and hopefully find a job.

What are you hoping to do after high school?
      God bless. <3

    8. That sounds like a good plan! Definitely enjoy your summer...it goes away quickly. Lol
Being your own boss would be very helpful, especially when you're a writer, and when God leads you to do different things at different times.

Me? Hmm, I'm hoping that maybe I'll be a published author. You never know though. God will lead me where he wants me to go, and I'll follow his leading. I really have no clue of doing anything else though. At one time I felt like I needed to be a counselor for kids who have been through mental and physical abuse. Though, I'd have to be able to tell them about my faith. It would be too hard not to. So, really I still don't know, but I feel at peace about that. You know, wherever Jesus leads me to go, I will go. I'll pray that we both go where we feel God is leading us to go.

      God bless you, Ivie! <3

    9. Hope you enjoy your summer. :)

    10. Yes, you too. Thank you. :)

  4. CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!! *GLITTER CANNON* XD I'm so happy for you!
I'll try to enjoy it. ;D I certainly have an AWESOME teacher! *winks at Mom*

    1. Thank you. Yes, we have the best teachers. ;)
Definately enjoy it. If you don't mind me asking, what grade are you in? (If you don't feel comfortable saying, don't worry about it. I'll understand. I wasn't sure if I was going to reveal my age on here until recently.)
      God bless. <3

    2. You're welcome!!! XD We definitely do.
I will! Um, I don't think my parents would want me to say it where anyone can read it, but let's just say I'm not graduated.
      God Bless!!! <3

    3. No problem, I understand completely. Like I said, I wasn't quite sure if I would post that I had graduated because that would pretty much reveal my age and I wasn't sure if I wanted to do that.
      God bless. <3 :)

    4. Thanks. XD I trust YOU and Gray, but there are some.... unsavory characters online. :| XD
      Philippians 4:19

    5. Yes, there are, unfortunately.
      Zephaniah 3:17 <3 :D

    6. *sighs* :/
      2 Thessalonians 3:3 XD
      (I love that verse. XD)

    7. Thank you. :D
      Colossians 3:13

    8. You're welcome!!!
